*Ingredients -
- White Matar – 2 cups
- Kabita's Chole Masala – 4 to 5 tbsps
- Green chilli – 3 to 4 slit
- Ginger – 1 inch cut into thin strips
- Green coriander – 2 tbsps chopped
- Ghee – 4 to 6 tbsps
*Steps -
Soak white matar and cook in a pressure cooker or open pan till soft but firm . Dry any remaining water .
In a kadhai mix the boiled mater and the chole masala till well blended .
In a tadka pot heat the ghee till it is smoking and you can see the smoke rising .
Add in the green chilli & ginger and very quickly pour over the white matar . Cover with a lid and allow to rest for 5 to 10 minutes
Serve hot with chopped coriander and kulcha.
